The school of hard knocks

Poor S. She had a horrible day on Tuesday. Waking up at 4 am, she was just grouchy and hyper tired all day. When R came home for lunch and we were discussing the horrible, terrible pricing at the local Honda dealership, the kids were literally running around in a circle from the kitchen to the living room with doodle pro boards. Somehow, and I don't know how, S either fell or got hit with something (methinks perhaps it was a doodle pro board since they were swinging them around) and her top teeth bit into her bottom lip. Poor thing - it was a painful, swollen, bloody mess.
This is what her lip looked like last night, which is a huge improvement from the day before.
She was a great sport about letting us clean her up and put ice on it to keep the swelling down. Two minutes later, she was running again and tripped on the toy box lid and scraped up her leg and arm. We calmed her down from that little adventure and she runs into the corner of the wall on our way to the car to register T for school. Just. not. a. good. day. But she sure looks cute with a ponytail, doesn't she? Gloves and bracelets courtesy of Grandma R.
