I have always wanted to the the cool, calm, collected parent that handles every situation with humor, grace, and lots of love.

I did a kid check as soon as I wrote that.

Me: Hey, Tucker...
T: Yesssss....
Me: Do you think I'm the kind of parent that handles situations with humor, grace, and love?
T: Uh, what?

T: ::looking put on the spot:: eehhhhhhhh ::shrugs::

Alrighty then.

Me: Hey Sara......
S: What?
Me: Do you think I'm the kind of parent that handles situations with humor, grace, and love?
S: ::shakes her head no::
T: HA! She said no! ::runs out of the room::

Okay then. Obviously I need to work on that. Or train them better. Or something.
